About Me
I'm Mactar Gueye, a Kettering University engineering student with a strong focus on competitive robotics, autonomous systems, and robot software development. I enjoy building systems that bridge hardware and software, from low-level embedded control to high-level motion planning and autonomy.
Education
I am currently studying engineering at Kettering University, where I balance academic coursework with extensive hands-on robotics development. My work emphasizes real-world problem solving, system integration, and iterative engineering design.
Experience
I actively compete in VEX U and the FIRST Robotics Competition, serving primarily as a robot programmer and systems developer. My experience includes designing autonomous routines, implementing control systems, integrating vision and odometry, and developing custom software architectures for competition robots. I am a FIRST Robotics Competition Division Champion, with experience performing under high-pressure, match-driven environments.
